Reiki

Your body already knows how to heal.

What This Is

Reiki is a Japanese laying-on-of-hands practice centered on life force energy. Reiki means spiritually guided life force energy. It is rooted in the understanding that life force energy is foundational to health: when it is strong, clear, and flowing, we are more able to feel alive, peaceful, resilient, and well; when it is depleted, blocked, or disturbed, we may experience illness, stress, emotional suffering, and imbalance.

Reiki offers an infusion of conscious, loving life force energy in support of healing across the whole person — body, mind, emotions, and spirit.

My Philosophy

The body already knows how to heal. Reiki does not override the body’s inherent wisdom and intelligence; it supports it. Universal life force energy is conscious and intelligent. It knows where to go, what to nourish, and where support is needed. In Reiki, those two intelligences meet and work together in healing, shift, and transformation.

My role is not to direct or control that process, but to serve as a clear channel for that energy while holding a safe, reverent, loving, and energetically clear space for the process to unfold.

What A Session Is Like

Each session begins with a conversation about what is going on and what would feel most supportive. Some people prefer quiet; some welcome prayer; some want me to share what I am sensing as I work. My intention is to create a space where the whole person can soften, open, and receive. When a person feels safe, comfortable, and relaxed, Reiki can move more fully through the body, heart, mind, and spirit.

You remain fully clothed and rest in whatever position feels most comfortable. I offer Reiki through light touch or hands held just above the body. The session is gentle, spacious, and responsive to what is needed.

Who Comes To This Work

People come to Reiki for many reasons — and in many seasons of life. Some are moving through stress, grief, burnout, emotional pain, or spiritual disconnection. Others come while navigating illness, recovery, or physical and mental strain. Some are simply drawn to receive healing support without knowing exactly why, and that is enough.

Reiki welcomes the whole person wherever they are.

Getting Started

A single session is a natural place to begin — a way to experience the work and see how your body and spirit respond. For those moving through something significant or looking for ongoing support, a series of sessions often offers the most sustained benefit. We can talk about what feels right for you.
